Coupon Crazy!
Just this weekend I decided to jump on the savings train and start clipping coupons. Being a stay-at-home-mom leaves lots of time for me to be able to really go "clip crazy" I ordered the local news paper for delivery every Sunday, and got them for 1.75 each, rather then paying $3 and up to buy in the stores and gas stations. I went to what my friend Amanda calls "coupon mountain" on Saturday morning to scavenger for some coupons! I got more then I know what to do with! but its great! so many good deals! then Sunday my 1st newspaper came right to my door. I spent the morning clipping coupons and planning my 1st shopping trip for toiletries my list was short but I knew the deals i was going to get. So i debated on weather or not i would bring my coupon box with me to the store, and then decided i would because the add can not possibly have everything on sale in it, and gosh I am so glad I did! I went to Walgreen's and Dollar general and got $115 dollars worth of product for $48! not to shabby for my first coupon haul! I am sure ill learn more tricks of the trade as I go along, but for a 1st timer I don't think I did that bad! I loaded up on body wash, shampoo, soft scrub bathroom cleaner, Razors, tooth paste, tin foil, and envelopes. got multiples of each, on top of a few things that were just on sale, w/o coupons. I Cant wait till Wednesday so i can go to coupon mountain again and go find some more deals! My next haul will be grocery shopping on July 3rd! Can't wait for that one it will be so much fun!!!

So Proud So Proud!
Last night my husband worked a 13 hour day at a crappy job that he hates, and here I was sitting home feeling badly for him because I knew he would just collapse on my lap when we watched our nightly ritual a good dose of a comedy movie that he would only see the intro of the lion roaring...
ok so REWINDalsdkfjoiweughreiugakjdfh... Shane is starting school next week and going to study for an associates degree in management he didn't intend to tell work but one of the guys he told slipped up and said something in front of the big boss. lucky is all I can say. So his boss last night asked him if he would like to go to the management training in Lansing. I can tell he was holding back his excitement or just not knowing weather or not to be excited at all honestly. I thought to myself do I remind him ... that good things really do come to those who wait and work hard while waiting. YAAA hahaha so I did I'm oozing with pride for my husband right now he was just handed an opportunity after being there for about 6 or 8 months, that the guys after being there for YEARS have never been offered.
I am so proud of my hardworking hubby I love him more and more each day and the moment I think I have given him all the love I can give the next time I turn around he gives me another reason to love him even more. I truly have married an amazing person.
What would I do with out him. is a question that I find myself asking constantly.

I didnt think this day would come!
We started legit potty training exactly a week ago with Mason, and he's been doing well with it. When we first started out we had a little kid potty that looked like a beagle puppy and the guard for it was to low, and Mase ended up peeing on the floor more often then not and boy when that kid has to pee he really GOES! LOL there for we had a mess on him, the seat of the potty the floor and anything within 2 feet of him. So we went to Meijer and got him a the foggy potty the eyes on this thing come up to his belly button, NO PEEING on the floor ha ha! We tried to give him an M&M for a reward. 1 for sitting on it all by himself, 2 for pee 3 for poop, but my son is some sort of garbage disposal and will literally eat just about anything you put in front of him and if he wants to eat it but cant reach he'll monkey a way into getting it of the table, or kitchen counter. so giving him M&M's had to stop b.c he sat down and saw the M&M's he'd go nuts wanting more and more and more with out doing any business on the potty and would cry if I didn't give them to him! So we switched to a sticker board, Shane brought home a poster board and stickers and i made a poster for him and every time he goes pee or poop he gets a sticker and after he gets 25 stickers he will get to pick out a new matchbox car (which is special b.c he only gets them for holidays and his birthday).
Golly isn't potty training fun! I will say it is so far the most challenging adventure Ive been on as a mother, midnight feedings ya that was hard, sick baby, ya that too, but potty training is like a whole new world of crazy, I feel like I spend most of my day in the bathroom singing potty songs and waiting for Mason to finally go! This is one adventure I defenatly can't wait to be over!

What more could I ask for?
With all the bad going on in the world today for whatever reason I always seem to forget about anything going on outside my one little piece of the universe. I have the cutest son (Mason) a mother could ask for (but then again what mother does not think that?) I married a wonderful man (Shane) that gave me this great kid. We may not b wealthy but we sure are happy living our life together.
Mason will be turning two in about 2 weeks. He's one crazy kid but I love him so much! He still has yet to start talking apart from the few basic words like mom dad dog ball ect but I am not letting that stop his communication skills. I am studying to be an American Sign Language Interpreter. So it dawned on me why not teach Mason to sign? and in a matter of about 3 weeks he has learned over 16 signs and the list grows everyday. I sign to him constantly and it is so funny when i see him signing something new that i don't rmember teaching him. Like this morning he brought me a book then signed " mom book" i taught him to sign mom but don't remember teaching him the sign for book. It is amazing seeing how smart he really is. Because the reality is that he isn't dumb he just has speech holding him back. I love my little signer!
My husband now he is a piece of work! LoL. He's always tinkering in the garage with some sort of motor. I tell all my friends" you can't go wrong if you marry a mechanic" haha. I love all the neat-o ideas he comes up with. He's one of the most creative people i know and definitely one of the most under appreciated By those around him. He defenatly doesn't get the credit he deserves.
I know one thing for sure I love my two boys more then anything in the world!
